Glenn Howerton

Glenn Franklin Howerton III is an American actor, producer, and screenwriter. He is known for his role as Dennis Reynolds on the FXX comedy series Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia, for which he is also a writer and executive producer.

Howerton was born in Japan, the son of American parents Janice and Glenn Franklin Howerton Jr., a fighter pilot. He grew up in Alabama, London, and South Korea. After graduating from Jefferson Davis High School in Montgomery, Alabama, he spent two years at New World School of the Arts in Miami, Florida. He was part of Groupof the Juilliard Schools Drama Division , where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. While earning his degree, he worked as a drama teacher at French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts in Hancock, New York.
